Hello, kind reader…

Here I am, watching art documentaries on Hulu. They’re great. They make me realize how easy and simultaneous difficult it is to be an artist.

This comic is a lot of things.

You can tell just by looking at it right away the most important thing to you.

To me, the most important thing is that it’s necessary. I have to do this, to try to get better at it. Not exactly because I owe you. I mean, you’re not really that big of a factor. Sorry. Maybe one day.

No, I have to get better for me. The good news is, that getting better for me does mean getting better for you. Sometimes people think they want something, but they don’t really know it. It’s my job to figure out what you need, not want.

I may or may not be figuring it out for you. I’m sorry if it wastes your time, there really isn’t enough of the stuff. Someone should figure out how to bottle the stuff…

Maybe that’s how I’ll make my first million….

Anyway, I stopped doing daily one panel strips, and I started doing stuff with a bit more substance. I know I should have a set schedule, but I don’t think that’s fair to my process, so I’m just going to try to do whatever for a while, and see what I can actually do to create a great comic for us.
