Last day of the Drawloween.
I sorta stopped doing the Inktober part. I had a few really good mash-ups, at least for me.
I drew today’s comic, just have to ink it.
Last day of the Drawloween.
I sorta stopped doing the Inktober part. I had a few really good mash-ups, at least for me.
I drew today’s comic, just have to ink it.
It’s almost Halloween, I went on Netflix to play Nightmare Before Christmas and it wasn’t there.
It was terrifying.
So, this morning, I’m listening to the soundtrack on Spotify.
I went to see one of my favorite bands last night, The Hempsteady’s.
They played at my wedding, and I try to make an effort to see them whenever I can.
Of course, this meant (in this case, at least), that I wouldn’t be getting up super early this morning.
So, today the comic will have to wait until later, and I didn’t get anything else done.
However, it is Sunday, and if you don’t take an occasional day to recharge, then what’s the point?
It’s always a relief to get to the end, to finish a thing.
I missed one day of the Inktober prompt, and I was late for both one day.
I don’t feel bad about it, really.
These prompts are a tool, and they help me get better at things.
They help me think more creatively.
I’m happy it’s almost over, but I’m already excited for next year, as well!
Things don’t go according to plan.
My daughter Hazel woke up at 4:30am, about a half-hour before I wanted to get up to get some work done before anyone else got up.
I new it would happen occasionally, so it’s not a surprise, and I know that I’ll be able to get my stuff done at some point.
Life doesn’t go along with your plans. You have to take that into consideration.
